By-Law change vote announcement:
The Board of Directors received a request to change the Bylaws by Membership Chairman Fred Cheney. The changes are around membership. The proposed changes are to simplify membership fees. The Board voted unanimously to approve and move the change to membership without edit. Here is the Membership section with the proposed change to be voted on Wednesday April 10, 2024:
Article III-Membership
- 1. Membership – General Definitions:
- A. Full 1 Year Membership is open to any car enthusiast or person owning an automobile meeting the criteria set forth in Article II of these By-Laws and entitles a voice and single vote for the member.
- B. Full 1 Year Associate Membership is open to any household member when the primary member joins as set forth in Article II of these By-Laws and entitles a voice and single vote for the associate member.
- C. Full 2 Year Membership is open to any car enthusiast or person owning an automobile meeting the criteria set forth in Article II of these By-Laws and entitles a voice and single vote for the member for 2 years.
- Full 2 Year Associate Membership is open to any household member when the primary member joins as set forth in Article II of these By-Laws and entitles a voice and single vote for the associate member for 2 years.
Membership Fees
1-Year Membership –
A person joining the Club as a full member before September 1st will pay a $25.00 membership fee, which entitles membership for the remainder of the calendar year.
B. A person joining the club as a full member after September 1st will pay a $15.00 membership fee, which entitles membership for the remainder of the calendar year.
C. A person joining the club as an associate member (joining with a primary full member) before September 1st will pay a $10.00 membership fee, which entitles associate membership for the remainder of the calendar year.
A person joining the club as an associate member (joining with a primary full member) after September 1st will pay a $5.00 membership fee, which entitles associate membership for the remainder of the calendar year.
2-Year Membership-
A person joining the Club as a full member before September 1st and wishing to purchase a 2 Year membership will pay a $40.00 membership fee, which entitles membership for the remainder of the calendar year and 1 additional year.
A person joining the Club as an associate member before September 1st and wishing to purchase a 2 Year membership will pay a $15.00 membership fee, which entitles membership for the remainder of the calendar year and 1 additional year.
Membership Fees – All member renewals are due by Jan 1:
One year membership fee is $25.00.
One year Associate Membership fee is $10.00.
Two year Membership fee is 40.00 membership.
Two year Associate Membership fee is $15.00
A Club Officer/Officer Elect must renew their upcoming membership not later than January 1 prior to assuming office. Further an officer/officer elect must be current in all Club dues, fees charges and payments. Officer/officer-elect may not assume duties of the position without meeting these requirement(s).
